What does
your façade need?
The right approach depends on the substrate, the condition of the building and your goals. We start with information about your property.
Insulation upgrades
Enquiries about improving the thermal performance of an existing building envelope. The build-up and details need to be specified for each building.
Repairs to façade details
Plinths, window reveals, sills and connections to other parts of the building. The causes of damage and related work need to be considered together.
These are enquiry categories for an initial assessment. Acceptance, technical solutions and the scope of work depend on a review of the individual project. New façade work is assessed separately.

For accepted projects, your contract is with Xplan, d.o.o. Subcontractors carry out the agreed site work. The quotation and contract define the included work, responsibilities and coordination arrangements.
We check the project requirements before accepting the work. Any independent supervision on behalf of the client is a separate role and is not included as our supervision of our own work.

Do you also consider new façade work?
Yes. We assess new façade enquiries individually. Acceptance depends on the scope and verified project requirements.
Can you provide a quotation from photographs alone?
Photographs help with the initial assessment. Further information, measurements, documentation or a site visit may be needed before we can provide a quotation.
Who will my contract be with?
For accepted projects, your contract is with Xplan, d.o.o. Subcontractors carry out the agreed site work.
What warranty will I receive?
Warranty terms, the scope of work and obligations are defined for the particular quotation, contract and system used. We do not promise a blanket ten-year warranty. Contract terms do not exclude rights and responsibilities under applicable law.
What affects the cost of façade repairs?
The area and extent of damage, the condition and type of substrate, access and scaffolding, preparation work, the proposed solution and the details involved. To prepare a comparable quotation, we need a description of the building and proposed work; measurements, documents or a site visit may also be needed.
When is a local repair sufficient, and when is full refurbishment more appropriate?
The decision depends on the extent and causes of the problems and the condition of the substrate and existing façade system. Painting or filling an individual crack does not necessarily resolve the cause of the damage. We determine a suitable repair scope after assessing the individual building.
